Congratulations to Scott Smothers, Lane Sprinkle, and Seth Baumgarten for their promotions from Firefighter to the role of Fire Service Drivers! They were recognized and pinned at a City Council Meeting in January.
This year the City of Semmes held a Veterans Social and Concert. It was a fantastic event. The Mobile Symphonic Pops Band played patriotic music, and the event was catered by A Gathering Place. There was a fantastic turnout by the local veterans in our community.
In November, the new court of Camellia Maids were welcomed. A brunch was held for the dress reveal and first meeting. The new Camellias are excited to represent the City of Semmes and are open for appearances. Please email [email protected] to schedule an appearance.
The Semmes tree was lit following a countdown by the community at the tree lighting event on November 23rd. There was holiday entertainment, visits with Santa, and even a Christmas Carnival. The Community shopped all day from the over 60 vendors in the Christmas Market. It was a wonderful Hallmark event.
