Mobile's first Geekfest a success

The city’s first Geekfest was a huge success. Many cosplayers signed up for the contest and had a great time showing their style. The table gaming area stayed packed for tournaments all day. The vendors sold all things geek and had a great day of sales. The community voted on geeky art and played interactive games throughout the event. The game truck (sponsored by Council Member Herring) and laser tag were a big hit for the younger crowd. The community really showed up and formed the best and most inclusive environment for this event.
