Human Resources: Duties and Responsibilties
The Human Resource Department is responsible for the successful administration of various employment-related systems and programs including employment recruitment, employee development, compensation, and benefits management, employee relations, and risk management.
Human Resources Mission Statement
The mission of the Human Resource Department is to recruit and maintain an able and highly motivated work force that will assist the City government in operating in a financially responsible and fiscally sound manner. They provide support services to other departments so that they may focus on the delivery of services to the people of Semmes.
