Debris Removal Services
Free Trash Pick Up

The City of Semmes is now picking up residential Debris twice a month. Residential debris is defined as tree limbs, tree/yard debris, discarded furniture and bedding. Bagged leaves, plants and grass clippings can be composted, used as mulch, or maybe put at the curb, as long as it does not exceed the 3 cubic yard limit (3’x3’x9’ or 20 bag equivalent).  Place your debris at the curb no more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up.

Limit Debris to 3 Cubic Yards which is 3’x3’x9’ (3 yards is about the size of a large couch)

  • If you put out more than 3 cubic yards or have items that aren’t allowed, a door hanger will be left.
  • To request a special pick-up of more than 3 cubic yards, call Public Works for a quote.
