The Admiral is a Championship Disc Golf Course located inside the Semmes Municipal Park at 8108 Morris Hill Road, Semmes, Alabama. The course was designed by John Houck, the premier master designer for disc golf in the United States. This course is expected to be used not just by local players within our community, but by thousands of regional and even national visitors each year. Professional PDGA Tournaments will be hosted at this course throughout the year. The site was dedicated in November 2016, however the official grand opening occurred in January 2017.

The Admiral Disc Golf Course is a par 65 with three sets of tees to accommodate all levels of players. John Houck has stated the Admiral, his 100th designed disc golf course, reminds him a lot of the course he designed for the International Disc Golf Center (IDGC) in Appling, Georgia, just outside of Augusta, where long fairways were carved out of a densely wooded county park. There are two ponds incorporated in the Admiral’s design and subtle topography changes come into play as well as adding to the course’s complexity.
